Thirty-nine years of people walking in, picking something up, and playing it.
Our Mission
We've never believed a music store is a warehouse with a register in it. Somebody handed each of us our first instrument, and everything after that came from what they passed along.
So the amps stay plugged in. If you want to sit down and play, sit down and play. Nobody here is going to rush you off a guitar, and nobody is going to make you feel like a beginner for being one. The kid figuring out their first chord and the player who's been gigging for thirty years get the same corner of the shop and the same respect.
That's the whole idea. Share it, and it grows. This wall is what that looks like.
Events
Learning an instrument is mostly done alone in a room. A showcase is the part where it stops being alone.
We open the shop up so young players can get up in front of an actual audience and show what they've been working on. Some have been playing for two months, some for years. It doesn't matter.
The point is the moment a kid finds out that the thing they practiced alone in their bedroom lands in a room full of people, and that they're a musician now. That's the best thing we do here, and it costs nothing to watch.
📞 Ask About Our Next Showcase
Back-to-school is our busiest stretch. Rentals go out, first instruments get chosen, and a lot of parents walk in with a school supply list they don't understand. Bring it to the counter and we'll sort it out with you.

Every one of these was filmed right here in the shop. Tap or hover any clip to hear it. Come in and play something, and you might end up on this wall.
Vinyl
That's not us talking. Miami New Times gave us the title in their 2010 Best of Miami Editors' Choice, and we've kept the bins full ever since.
Rock, jazz, soul, Latin, oddball finds nobody else has. Our collection is the kind you flip through for an hour and walk out with something you weren't looking for. New and used, always turning over, so it's never the same bins twice.
Come In
Walk in, pick something off the wall, and play it. That's not a sales tactic, it's just how the shop works.
